Napa/Sonoma award-winning chef, Maria Parish asked us to help establish a successful brand for her private chef business online, where she cooks for intimate gatherings and corporate events.

Branding: We created an emblem for the brand, and a flexible system made up of an iconic seal, and a vertical stack for the logo. The typeface consists of an elegant typeface inspired by the vintage aesthetics that speak to her old school techniques in the kitchen dating back to her greek YiaYia’s recipies. Illustration styles elevating the fork and hand, compliment the typefaces in the branding.

Website: We saw her website as an opportunity to tell her story, much like going to the cinema to watch a movie. We created the theme “Storybook” to drive the visual aesthetics for the UI portion of the website. Simple and clean UX features across the website, allows customers to easily place orders, and book dinners directly with Maria, while feeling connected to Maria on a personal level, and her passion for cooking.
